Community guidelines
Hearthside is a warm place for creators and the people who support them. These rules keep it that way. They apply to every page, post, comment, and message on the platform.
Never allowed
- Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content of any kind
- Gore or real violence
- Hate content or targeted harassment
- Illegal content, or content that facilitates illegal activity
- Spam, scams, or impersonation
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark
This is a hard line. It doesn't move, and the Mature flag doesn't change it.
The Mature (18+) flag
Creators whose work involves strong language or edgy-but-non-explicit visuals must flag their page (or individual posts) as Mature. Flagged pages sit behind an age confirmation and are excluded from discovery unless a viewer opts in. Using the Mature flag to publish content from the "never allowed" list is a terms violation, not a gray area — it will result in suspension.
Reporting
Every post, comment, and page has a Report link. Reports go straight to our moderation queue. We review them promptly, act on what breaks these rules, and never punish good-faith reporting.
Copyright (DMCA)
If you believe content on Hearthside infringes your copyright, report it with the "Illegal content" reason and include the details a DMCA notice requires: the work infringed, the infringing URL, your contact information, and a good-faith statement. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
